Do you take group photos?

My work is mainly documentary style meaning I spend most of the day capturing moments that unfold completely naturally. However, I appreciate the need for the traditional group photos and will happily plan and coordinate these into the day. I would recommend planning no more than 10 group photos to ensure it doesn’t spoil the flow of the day.

Do we need a 2nd photographer?

I work with a few trusted photographers who are fully trained professional wedding photographers in their own right. I recommend having a 2nd photographer if you wish to document both bridal and groom preparations on the wedding morning or you have more than 100 guests celebrating your day.

How long after the wedding do we see the images?

Usually, all images are delivered within 8 weeks after the wedding day.

What happens if you are unwell on the day of the wedding and unable to attend?

Although this hasn't happened in 5 years I have been photographing weddings, of course it could happen, in the unlikely event that I am unable to photograph your wedding due to ill health, I will make every effort to find replacement photographer of similar style and approach. Fortunately I do have an extensive local network of professional photographers that I know and trust and will reach out to find a stand in.

Are you insured?

Yes I am fully insured for both public and professional indemnity.

How far will you travel?

There is no limit! I am happy to travel the globe in pursuit of documenting awesome weddings. All the my packages include travel costs within 80 miles of OX26. If you are planning a wedding further away please get in touch and I will happily create a bespoke package for you.

Who owns the copyright of the images?

The copyrights of the images always remain with the photographer, but I license my clients the right to use the images as they wish. The only restrictions are, you can’t use the images for commercial resale or manipulate them in any way.

How do we book?

All the information I need from you at the start of our conversation is the date and the venue. Contact me in the first instance using the contact me page of this website to check my availability or email me directly at enquiries@jonathanbicklephotography.co.uk – If my calendar is free I will provisionally save the date for you.

I will then arrange the first consultation to discuss your wedding day in more detail. There’ll be no hard sell – I encourage all my couples to discuss this fully between themselves before going ahead. If you decide that you’d like to proceed I will give you a contract to sign and you’ll pay a £400 deposit by bank transfer or Paypal with the remaining balance due one month before.
