Stone Barn Wedding photography

Hayley and Will

If you’re planning a wedding at Stone Barn in Cheltenham, you’ll love this!

Hayley and Will got married at Stone Barn, which is located in Upper Windrush with amazing views of the Cotswolds all around. The barn itself is truly unique and has a real rustic vibe.

From the moment I arrived to saying goodbye in the late hours Hayley and Will made me feel so welcome. It was a joy to photograph!

Bridal preparations

The day started at Montreal House one of Cripps & Co’s fantastic properties, it was the ideal setting for the girls to get ready. Shortly after I arrived they exchanged gifts and had breakfast in the garden before heading inside to get ready. Once ready Hayley came down to see her dad and his reaction was brilliant. Then they set off in a VW camper van which was the perfect choice for this relaxed wedding!

The ceremony

The ceremony was a fantastic occasion under a stunning floral chandelier created by the very talented Go Wild Flowers. During the ceremony, emotions were high, especially for Will although the tension was broken when his best man managed to drop Hayley’s ring which was funny and made for some great photos!

Why Stone Barn is a great place to get married

Stone Barn has a laid-back vibe and is one of the best places to get married in the Cotswolds, the light in the main barn is a photographer's dream. Additionally, they offer some of the best food and have a great menu available. To top it off there are so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos. We were spoilt for choice and got some amazing light during golden hour!

The reception

The couple had a live singer in the afternoon and a live band in the evening. For dinner, they had amazing beef with all the trimmings, and the first dance was a good old traditional wedding shuffle. They finished off the evening with sparklers.

The couple

Hayley wore a classic white dress and Will wore a three-piece suit and they both looked amazing!

The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry intrigued me. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they wanted to have one big party!
